What types of school districts does
The Millennium Group target?
Rural or urban? Large or small?

TMG Education Services specializes in assisting large, urban school districts, although we believe our turnaround model can be customized to meet needs of any district with schools where children are performing in quartiles 1 and 2.

Regardless of a school district’s size, we work directly with the district to identify groups of elementary, middle and high schools that have struggled academically for several years. These schools and the students and teachers receive intensive support and a special academic program to promote better results and higher achievement.

TMG Technology Services are adept at meeting needs of the largest urban school districts as well as those of start-up charter and vocational schools. We take pride in our ability to exceed expectations and meet needs of all schools with our expertise in helping clients plan, implement and realize dramatic improvements from their technology infrastructure. We also provide an extensive range of training and professional development services to clients. In fact, we are the exclusive provider of those services on Apple Products in the state of Florida.

How does The Millennium Group’s Education Turnaround Model differ from competitors?

TMG Education has developed an innovative and proven strategy for turning around schools where children are performing in the 1st and 2nd quartiles by taking a differentiated approach to public education. We have what no other company can claim ― proven expertise in turning around schools performing in the lowest quartiles and the ability to guarantee significant student achievement within one year. We do so without the acquisition of external financial resources and in full partnership with school districts.

Are there specific examples of a school district in which The Millennium Group's School Turnaround Model was implemented and student achievement quantifiably improved as measured by test scores or performance compared to state and national standards?

Dr. Irving Hamer, the nationally renowned educator and entrepreneur leading TMG Education, recently oversaw the successful implementation of this model in the Miami-Dade County Public Schools in Florida in 2004-2005. During this assignment, Dr. Hamer designed, developed and managed the implementation of the "School Improvement Zone," which included 39 schools serving 44,000 students. After one year of re-deployed resources and intensive interventions, 8,532 students improved at least one performance level as a result of their developmental gains on the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test.
