September 2005

TMG has completed the implementation of Apple Computer's single largest sale ever!! An impressive number of 30,000 ibook laptops computers were purchased by the School Board of Broward County to refresh their technology. This refresh was innovative in that the ibooks purchased are stored in mobile carts. These carts can be moved between classrooms thus stimulating the use of technology in innovative ways, creating digital classrooms. This monumental task of technical excellence and impressive logistics was completed in three weeks!

June 2005

TMG / IBM introduce project KNEXUS to Broward County School District. KNEXUS is IBM's websphere portal technology that will enable the District to access data from any of their systems and present information specific to a individual user's needs. This exciting technology keeps BCSD at the leading edge of technological advancement in education.

April 2005

Millennium’s Network Support Internship with McFatter High School is a finalist for the School Board of Broward County’s Partnership of the Year Award. This program has been a finalist in every year of it’s existence. Much thanks to Mark Thomas and Lynn Goldman of McFatter for their unending support of this endeavor. Millennium and IBM began implementing a district-wide AS400 consolidation for Broward County Public Schools.

December 2004

Millennium and IBM provide the IBM Host Integration Systems solution to Broward County Public Schools. This product includes IBM’s Host-On Demand (HOD) and Host-Access-Transformation (HAT) solutions.

August 2004

TMG has completed the installation of 4,200 Apple iBooks as part of the Broward County Public Schools' Digital Learning Environment Initiative. The team finished in record time, far exceeding the customers' expectations. Aided with the latest in Apple technology, the TMG team plans on using this model as a basis for future large-scale deployments.
