Dipl.-Ing. Gerhard Möller takes over the former Lemgo branch of the traditional company Ferbeck & Cie. On May 1, 1966, the company Möller Feuerungsbau GmbH & Co. KG was founded. The consistent development from a chimney company to a combustion construction company begins.

Klaus Röpke, who holds a degree in business administration, joins the company. Two years later, his wife, Anke Röpke (former Möller), who holds a degree in business administration and is the daughter of the company’s founder, also joins the company. Since then, the company has been run as a traditional family business.

Gerhard Möller increasingly steps back from day-to-day operations, and Klaus and Anke Röpke take over management. The globalization of markets is seen as an opportunity, and Möller’s international expansion continues to gain momentum. At the same time, the “M-Group” brand name takes shape and is established as a distinctive company logo in the years that follow.

In 2003, what belongs together grew together. Eberhardt-Lippold GmbH was integrated into Eberhardt GmbH. The company is a globally recognized engineering firm for the design, development and construction of lime shaft kilns with a focus on the sugar and soda industry. This bundled together what had already been practiced on construction sites for decades under one roof. The synergies between Möller Feuerfesttechnik and Eberhardt GmbH are obvious. In 2006, we expanded our group with Möller Polska Sp. z o.o., to build a bridge to Eastern Europe. Two years later, we founded our first subsidiary in the UK, with the aim of opening up the English and Irish markets. The culmination in 2019 was the founding of our Portuguese branch in picturesque Caldas da Rainha, north of Lisbon.

We are breaking new ground with a joint venture in the United Kingdom. We have decided to expand our presence in the British market even further and have partnered with the British company “PCI.” This partnership gave rise to “MÖLLER PCI.” Within a very short time, the company became the market leader in refractory installations at cement plants.
